When Jody Watley performed at The Promontory in Chicago, I was able to present her along with Rosero and Nate of her new group Shalamar Reloaded with my fan art. I was expecting to take a group picture with her, but she motioned to her coordinator Wallace to capture the moment on video. I was so touched by their appreciation. Talk about "A Night To Remember"!

I met with a buyer who said, "You should add more Chicago-themed cards to your collection." And she was right. When I think of Chicago I think food. And what's more Chicago than our Chicago style hot dog. Of course hold the ketchup.

Woman's Birthday Card

Sistahs with natural hair are so beautiful. I wanted to feature that on a card. I'm diggin' how it turned out. 

Had a great day selling cards as part of Hyde Park Handmade Bazaar 9/13/15. First time using new display where customers can pick cards from table and not just from the 24 pocket spinner rack. The new Chicago Mix Birthday card was very well received.
